June – Monthly Round Up

June has been and gone! The summer has finally arrived. And it has been so hot recently. It’s been a busy month for us with lots of fun in the sun. We’ve had birthdays and holidays so lots been going onimage for June - Monthly Round Up

This month has been a busy one. It started with my son turned two at the beginning of June, not sure how he is two already! We also went away to Disneyland Paris. We stayed in Center Parcs in Paris which was so nice. I have been to the UK Center Parcs quite a few times but it was first visiting a French site. It was so nice to have a busy day at the Disney parks then come home to relax in the Center Parcs lodge.

We’ve had such amazing weather lately, with temperatures of around 28c. We’ve tried to make the most of the sunshine and spent a lot of time out in the garden. The kids have loved playing in the paddling pool and it’s been quite nice just relaxing in the sun. It’s like being on holiday abroad.

Side Hustles

As the beginning of the month was a bit hectic with birthdays and holidays, my side hustles took a bit of a back seat for a week or so.

Once I was back from holiday, I soon got back in to my normal routine and got stuck in to making money from home. I currently only work part time in my job so making extra money at home in the evenings really helps boost my income and allows to me to stay at home with my kids whilst they are still so young.

Matched betting – as the World Cup is on now, there has been lots of good opportunities for making money. I have still only been doing 20-30 minutes each day but has been lots of offers to choose from. This is definitely my most profitable side hustle. I have been doing it for nearly 18 months now and still each month I can make a couple of hundred pounds. If I had more time, I could double this amount. If you’re looking to make money from home, matched betting is definitely the side hustle to start with.

Mystery shopping – I seem to average about one a week for these now. I only using one company at the moment which is Marketforce. Most of these are all lunchtime assignments which means free food as well as being paid too.
