A few months ago, I set myself a challenge to make £10 a day, I made this fairly easily in my first month so I then upped it to £15 a day. I was recording my progress in weekly income reports but the last few weeks I have let things slip and haven’t kept on top of it. A new month and a new attempt to reach my monthly target.
I’m not going to set myself a daily amount I want to make but will aim for £500 by the end of August. This is a busy month for me with lots of birthdays including my daughters and my own, so will have to make extra effort to keep on track.
How I plan to make £500
£500 seems like an achievable amount, as long as I don’t lose track and stay focused I should be able to reach it.
Matched betting is one of my highest paying side hustles. If you haven’t heard of it yet, take a look at my journey so far post which explains it all. If I knuckle down with this, I should be able to make a decent amount in a month.
Again, I haven’t been doing a lot of these lately. I am going to get back in to them, I can normally make around £10 a week with these if I do them every day, I only really use two survey sites at the moment. I may look in to others to try out to see if I can up the amount I make.
I have recently started reselling. I’ve really enjoyed it and have sold things for a good profit which I have picked up from charity shops for just £1. I have a few things left to sell and will visit a few more charity shops to see if I can find any bargains which will make me a decent profit.
I love this side hustle. It isn’t the highest earner but it saves money in other areas, normally food. If I can book a mystery shop for a free meal in a restaurant, that saves me having to cook dinner that day. I normally book one a week, but already have two booked for this week so will try and get as many booked as possible.
It doesn’t sound too bad when I break it down in to different areas. Lets see how I get on with these four side hustles. Hopefully I can reach my target for this month.
